Adult Clients

We work with busy professionals, parents, and young adults entering the work force.  Often overwhelmed, underproductive, or stuck, adults with ADHD make up for their struggles through masking, last minute grinds, and pushing themselves too hard.  It doesn’t need to be this hard.

What our clients struggle with :
  • Starting and planning tasks

  • Procrastination

  • Disorganization, forgetfulness, and last-minute work

  • Prioritization and analysis paralysis

  • Remembering and tracking tasks

  • Difficulty with scheduling

  • Finishing day-to-day chores and household management

  • Following through on goals and tasks

How We Help Them

One-on-one, weekly online coaching sessions teach productivity skills, time management through fostering self-understanding and self direction, building foundational skills in executive skills.

Fostering Self-Understanding and Self-Direction

  • Help clients understand their inner experience and choices better

  • Encourage tools to help them self-direct

  • Combat procrastination by creating a deeper understanding of what causes it

  • Sessions are always client led and directed

  • Explore the likely consequences of decisions

Building Foundational Steps for Developing Executive Skills

  • Identify goals, plan, and follow through to completion

  • Manage projects in three steps: planning, scheduling, and time management

  • Learn strategies to prioritize tasks

  • Explore various agenda formats until we identify one that suits each client

  • Provide organizational problem-solving for time, activities, or space

  • Reflecting the following week on what worked and what needs improvement

"The results of this approach has truly been life changing for me in understanding my journey with ADHD, but in also understanding the greater shared neurodivergent experience as a whole"

  • Clarity of  what, how, when, and why you’re going to do something is key to progress

  • Accountability is a mechanism for effectiveness

  • Learning from past issues contributes to future success

  • The process helps clients narrow the gap between what they can dream and what they do

  • Making organization easy and relevant helps clients create physical spaces that are less stressful and time consuming

  • Motivation promotes action, which aids in overcoming procrastination
