Brieanna's Story
Brieanna is a fierce ally and advocate for folks who think and learn differently.
Starting at the young age of 10 she took it upon herself to learn everything she could about ADHD to help her struggling, but brilliant younger sister. As it turned out, her family was abundant with ADHD folks and so began her commitment to making the world an easier place for folks who don’t quite fit in.
This journey led her to working with Autistic children through her University education, working for the school North Vancouver School District, and ultimately launching a tutoring business, Outside The Box, shortly after graduation which specialized in young people who were struggling academically, socially, and structurally as a result of their ADHD or Autism. During this time she ran summer camps, did professional workshops for educators and other youth workers, as well as educational sessions with parents and other family members.
Her philosophy was always; if you can help the support people to understand the experience of these kids, then they will have more patience, act with more kindness, and feel better resourced.
After a hiatus, Brieanna is thrilled to have returned to working with folks who are striving to be their best selves in a system that was not designed for them. Organized Minds and the team that works here have created a wonderfully supportive and expansive environment to ensure that the brilliant minds of our clients can shine and thrive.

Brieanna is phenomenal at what she does. Through a combination of listening and very inquisitive but purposeful questioning she is able to have you to break down your own strategies and define areas that require support. Instead of her simply just giving you a structure, she takes the time to learn your strategies and work together to improve upon them. As an adult with a late diagnosis of ADHD I obviously had built many coping strategies and systems to get things done before the diagnosis. Her expertise from working with people within this space shines through in the questions she asks, that I never would have thought to ask myself. It isn't Brieanna versus you, it is Brieanna and You versus the problem. By following this approach she creates a safe, empathetic, and productive space for improvement and accountability.
